Eleanor Allen

Eleanor Allen is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Florida State University
where she received her BFA with a concentration in printmaking and sculpture. She minored
in Art History upon studying Renaissance Art in Florence, Italy. In 1996, Ms. Allen received her
Master of Arts in Education from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and is currently
employed as an art teacher at Vestavia Hills High School. Ms. Allen has been commissioned
for several large-scale public and private murals in the Birmingham area as well as other
works of art including portraits, architectural renderings and freelance graphic design projects.
Ms. Allen gives her time to local community art events and regularly contributes artwork to
charity auctions.
