Joan Curtis
Joan's vibrant colors and her free spirited style reflect exactly who she is.  In each painting you can
see her love of life.
She was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1974 in
Art Education.  For the past 30 years she and her husband and children have lived in Vestavia
Hills, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama.
She participates in local art shows and works with individuals and designers interested in her work.
 She shares her painting talents by giving demonstrations to school age children as an enrichment
activity.
Her newest painting collection is full of vivid colors and delightful subject matter.  It reflects what
she knows and loves best, her family, her many friends, and the joy of flowers and travel.  The
latest collection is entitled "The Do Wa Collection."  It includes:
