Kathy Dyleski

Artists Statement: "I believe my work is a way of expressing my true self, the person God
created me to be. I hope that through Christ my paintings will continue to build my faith,
nurture the faith of others and bring joy to them."
Kathy Dyleski lives in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband and two children. She received
a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Auburn University. For eleven years she worked in the
field of graphic design as a freelancer and as an employee for magazines such as Southern
Living and Cooking Light. She "retired" in 1999 from work to stay at home and devote all of
her time raising her two children.
Painting primarily in oils, Kathy creates small and large scale paintings of loosely styled images
including angels, crosses, landscapes, and people. In addition to showing her work in
galleries she continues to show her work in various local art shows. To be included on her
