Artist's statement:
My creative drive has led me to explore a wide range of techniques and materials in
materials in my jewelry. Currently my designs reflect my love of combining organic elements,
gemstones, freshwater pearls, and silver to create designs which delight my eye. My
jewelry is self-taught, although I studied painting, textile designs and surface design with
Christine Mariotti and Ling Chun of Southern California.
My jewelry is currently shown at The Birmingham Museum of Art Store and various
southeastern art venues. My Pompeii Collection, contemporary designs inspired by the
Pompeii exhibition, is for sale at the Pompeii Store at the Birmingham Museum of Art.
