I am an attorney by day and a photographer the rest of the time--when I can find it. I have always been fascinated by photography's fusion of the technical and the artistic. Finding where the best combination of the two lies is what makes photography so challenging and rewarding.

In my photography, I seek to present places and things that exist on their own terms, without relying on the larger world around them for their meaning. As a result, my subject matter is varied, from an industrial pipe fitting to a 100-year old Texas live oak. I will shoot in color just as easily as in black and white--both work in their own ways. In short, I try to find the sublime in the ordinary.
