My name is Lindy Edwards. As a child, I loved my crayons and a coloring book. The smell of Crayolas still gives me a feeling of comfort. I never pursued my art beyond that, as I couldn't stay within the lines in the coloring book. I began painting two years ago when I was invited to Jennifer Harwell's first Valentine Paint Party. It was a new and comforting feeling to apply paint to a canvas. I haven't stopped since. I love working with color combinations, mixing paints, and geometric shapes. I've found that I have a creative side and I'm enjoying it.

My husband, Preston Edwards, is an artist, with a Jackson Pollock style of throwing paint. We share a studio, so it isn't uncommon to find his paint on my painting.
