| Rebecca Buckner is a jewelry artist who primarily
works with wire to create unique pieces. She has a love of rocks and gems
that includes a background in geology as a minor at University of Oklahoma.
After a long career in computer science, she has turned her creative energies
to working with her original calling in this new form.
Wire is often the medium of choice and each ring for the chain maille
is formed and cut by hand. Each link is then made to create beautiful
chain in either sterling silver or copper. Other pieces include vintage
beads that Rebecca has collected for many years. They link together to
tell unique stories. It is her desire that each piece will reflect the
inner beauty of the woman who wears it. That is the resplendent beauty.
Rebecca is a past president of the Huntsville Bead Society and frequently
teaches chain maille at the local bead store. She is a married mom of
three who lives in Huntsville, Alabama.
